Comparison
SentinelOne vs Norton 360
The short version
These are different categories rather than competitors. Norton 360 is a consumer suite: antivirus plus VPN, password manager and identity monitoring, licensed per household. SentinelOne is business EDR: behavioural detection, rollback and a management console, licensed per endpoint. If you are protecting a family's devices, buy Norton. If you are protecting a business, the extras Norton bundles are not the ones you need.

Check the renewal price, not the promo
Consumer security is sold on heavy first-year discounts. Norton 360 Deluxe advertises around $49.99 for the first year covering five devices, and typically renews substantially higher. That is not unique to Norton — the whole category works this way — but it makes year-one comparisons misleading. Compare renewal against renewal.
What Norton includes that we do not
VPN, password manager, dark-web monitoring, parental controls, cloud backup. These are real features with real value for a household. We sell none of them and have no plans to.
What we include that Norton does not
A central console showing every machine and its status, rollback of a ransomware attack, remote shell for troubleshooting a device you are not sitting at, and a year of forensic retention. On one home laptop these do not matter. On eight machines you are responsible for, they are the job.
When Norton 360 is the better choice
We would rather you buy the right thing than buy from us. Norton 360 wins if:
- You are protecting a family's laptops, phones and tablets under one subscription.
- You want a VPN and password manager bundled rather than bought separately.
- Nobody in the household will ever log into a management console, and shouldn't have to.
- Identity monitoring and parental controls matter more to you than forensic retention.
When we’re the better choice
You run a handful of machines for a real business, you want behavioural detection and one-click rollback, and you don’t want a sales call or a seat minimum to get it. SentinelOne Control is $7.00 per endpoint per month and Complete is $10.00, starting at one endpoint.
Worth saying plainly: we are not a managed security provider. We supply the licence, the console and the documentation. We do not watch your alerts or respond to incidents.
