Comparison

SentinelOne vs CrowdStrike Falcon

The short version

CrowdStrike is an excellent product with a stronger threat-intelligence operation and a real MDR arm. It is also priced and packaged for organisations with a security function. If you are a small business that wants EDR with rollback and no sales call, we are cheaper and simpler. If you want a name your cyber-insurer recognises and a SOC you can escalate to, buy CrowdStrike.

Pricing

Verified from public sources as of 2026-08-24. Note the billing units differ.

Product Class Price Billed
Crimzonhost (SentinelOne Control) EDR $7 /endpoint/mo ($75/yr) Per endpoint
Crimzonhost (SentinelOne Complete) EDR + Deep Visibility $10 /endpoint/mo ($110/yr) Per endpoint
CrowdStrike Falcon Go Prevention (AV-class) $59.99 /device/yr Per device
CrowdStrike Falcon Pro EDR $99.99 /device/yr Per device

Falcon Go is not EDR

This is the detail that trips people up. Falcon Go at $59.99 per device per year is CrowdStrike's prevention tier — closer to advanced antivirus than to full endpoint detection and response. The EDR tier is Falcon Pro at $99.99 per device per year. Comparing our $75/year Control against the $59.99 Go price is not comparing like with like; against Falcon Pro at $99.99 it is.

Rollback

SentinelOne can return a Windows endpoint to its pre-attack state, restoring files encrypted by ransomware — it is built on Volume Shadow Copy Service, so macOS and Linux agents remediate but do not restore files this way. CrowdStrike's approach is prevention and detection rather than rollback — excellent at stopping the attack, but it does not undo damage that lands.

Buying friction

Falcon Go is self-serve and capped at 100 devices. Above that, or for Pro and Enterprise tiers, expect a sales conversation. With us, one endpoint is a valid order and checkout is a link.

When CrowdStrike Falcon is the better choice

We would rather you buy the right thing than buy from us. CrowdStrike Falcon wins if:

  • You want a vendor with a large in-house threat intelligence team and published adversary research.
  • You need managed detection and response — CrowdStrike offers Falcon Complete; we offer nothing comparable.
  • Your cyber-insurance questionnaire or a client's security review names CrowdStrike specifically.
  • You are large enough that per-seat price matters less than consolidated tooling and vendor support.

When we’re the better choice

You run a handful of machines for a real business, you want behavioural detection and one-click rollback, and you don’t want a sales call or a seat minimum to get it. SentinelOne Control is $7.00 per endpoint per month and Complete is $10.00, starting at one endpoint.

Worth saying plainly: we are not a managed security provider. We supply the licence, the console and the documentation. We do not watch your alerts or respond to incidents.
